More Paid Survey Sites

FGI Research - They do not send many invites out, maybe a few a month and you will not qualify for them all. However, you can earn a little extra spending change with them. The average pay per survey is $1-$3 and others surveys offer a specific prize or sweepstakes entry. The incentive for each survey will be clearly stated in each survey invitation you receive. They also offer referral pay and you receive your payments through Paypal mostly, but it may also be received through US Mail. Payment is processed once per month, for all studies that were completed in the previous month. You can check them out here: https://ld.fgiresearch.com/supp/asurvey?uid=46743165&cd=DA34FD86D7&src=3&rfid=38748

Iposis i-say - Here you can earn points for surveys taken, which you can redeem for gift cards or use for prize drawing entrees. They actually have some really cool prizes too.
Check them out here: http://www.i-say.com/

EDU Research Group - They offer a $5.00 registration bonus! You receive survey invites sent to your email address pretty often, depending on your specified interests. Your payment is received through Paypal or Amazon.com gift cards. The minimum cash out amount is $25.00. Here is their link: http://www.ergsurvey.com/

More money makers!!

Here are some more survey site money makers for ya!

Clear Voice Surveys - They pay you to take various surveys according to your specified interests. The minimum payout amount is $10.00 and you can receive your payment in a few different ways. 1.) Through a prepaid debit MasterCard called Payoneer, which you apply for through their site. 2.) Through Dining Dough, which is a $25.00 dining gift certificate, (for $10.00) Or 3.) Through an Amazon.com gift card. You do not have to cash out once you reach the minimum $10.00 if you do not want to, you can let it add up for a while if you'd like. However, in order to cash out at all as I mentioned, your account balance has to be at least $10.00 minimum.

The survey invitations are sent to your email address. However I do recommend that you log into your account once in a while to check for any available survey opps.
You can check them out here: www.clearvoicesurveys.com

Focus Forward Online - There are a few ways to get paid by them and you can sign up for both options as well. The minimum cash out amount either way is $10.00 and your payment is mailed to you by U.S.Mail only. There are no other payment receipt options at this time.

The first way to earn $ is by taking surveys, which you will receive invitations to through email. You are paid by cash and prizes and the pay ranges from $1.00 to $5.00 per survey.

The other ways you can get paid by them is by participating in their in person focus groups, phone interviews and product testing for cash. These ways don't come up too often. However, when they do and you qualify to be included, the typical compensation amount for those are $50.00 to $75.00 for each. You can also earn by referrals.
You can check them out here: https://www.focusfwdonline.com/signup.aspx?rf=Kq6408W14A69K10G

Buzzback - You are paid $3.00 per completed survey and that is also the minimum payout amount, which is automatically mailed out to you after you have completed your survey. It takes a few to a couple of weeks to get it in the mail. They send you survey invites a couple to a few times per month. You receive your payment in the form of a check by U.S. Mail only. No other payment receipt options are available at this time. www.buzzback.com

Netverdix - You are paid to take surveys. The invitations are sent to your email address, but not very often. They pay is usually $2.00 per completed survey. The minimum cash out amount they state on their site is $5.00 and any balance under that amount rolls over to the next months balance. However, I recieve my payments via paypal, and I have been sent payment in the amount of $2.00 within a couple of days after completing the survey, a few different times. So if you choose to get paid theough paypal, you may also have the advantage of getting paid quicker and not having to meet that $5.00 minimum.

A drawback with this one though, is you do not get very many invites and it can sometimes take a while for your account to be credited if you choose to have your checks mailed instead of receiving your payment through paypal. You can check them out here: www.netverdix.com

I will be sure to keep adding them as I come across more of them. Have fun and make that lil extra money honey! LOL! TTFN!

More Paid Surveys!

Here are a couple more survey sites I've been paid by:

1.)Surveyhead- They have a lot of opportunities to take their surveys, again based on your interests and you also get a $5.00 sign up bonus. You will not always qualify to take every survey, but when you do, the money does add up. It takes a few days to post to your account after you have completed a survey, so don't freak out if your account balance doesn't change right away, it will. The minimum cash out amount is $25.00. Paypal is the only method available to receive your payment at this time. http://www.surveyhead.com/

2.) Dollarsurveys - This is a site that sends you an email everyday so you can earn $1.00 a day from taking their surveys. Paypal is the required payment receipt method. Your payment per completed survey is transfered into your Paypal account within 24 hrs. $1.00 is the minimum amount, which is the usual paid amount per survey. Even when they do not have surveys to offer you wrth $1.00, they will send you some you can take for .50 cents. They do not always send you survey invites though, they may require you to sign up to receive information on a product by mail, which requires a valid email address and/or home address but they never require credit card info or things like that. If they do I have not completed any of those types before. I would sometimes let the emails pile up for a few days then respond to them all at once, so as to have $5.00, from 5 surveys deposited into my Paypal account at once, instead of just the $1.00 a day, but either way will work. You will not qualify for every survey, but you will to request info sent by mail when that is required and as I mentioned above, they pay you for that as well. http://www.dollarsurveys.net/

I will keep you posted as I am paid by more survey sites, have fun making your lil' extra money honey!

Cha Cha and KGB

I wanted to mention a couple of other companies that I work for as an Independent Contractor, called Cha Cha and KGB. They are both great companies to work for with some similarities, like the fact that you work from home for them on your computer and they are both text answering services, but they are really quite different from each other.

I will talk about KGB first since they are currently hiring and Cha Cha is not. KGB is a text answering service, where people can text any question to 542542 and get an answer back in reply. When you work for KGB as a a Special Agent, you are the one who answers the questions that come in as part of the team of other special agents answering questions as well.

I have been working with KGB for less than a month now, and not very often, since I just wanted to give them a try to try to earn some more extra money. However, I think that I may start to work a bit more often with them since you can earn $ pretty quickly in your spare time, for a few steady hours. As a Special Agent, they pay you 5 to 10 cents per question. 10 cents is per question you actually have to look up and answer and 5 cents is when you can reuse an answer to a question that has already been answered before or use an automated response.

You will have to take and pass a few tests to be able to come on board with KGB. Don't worry, if you do not pass the first time, they will give you another try after a while. After you pass your first tests, you will have some training on their system and your work duties and how to perform them, along with a few final tests. The last tests are easier since you have the training aids at your disposal to refer to for the needed answers.

You are usually required to schedule your hours through their schedule site ahead of time and then they will send you reminder emails for your scheduled work time. However, they do get rather busy at times and they will allow you to just go ahead and log into the work site and start taking questions when there is heavy traffic, with out having to have a set schedule to work previously set. That and much more will be explained to you during your introduction to the company and your training. You can check them out at http://kgb.com/jobs

Now I will tell you about Cha Cha, another text answering service where anyone can have their questions answered by texting their question to 242242. I have been doing the Cha Cha for a few months now and I really like it! They are a great company to work with, however as I mentioned, they are not hiring at this time. They do have a few different positions that you can apply for once they are hiring again though. I am an Expeditor. I categorize and route the questions that come in to the guides so they can then answer the question. You will also need to take a test for the position you apply for. Pay varies for each position. The pay for an Expeditor is 3 cents per question categorized and sent. So it takes a bit to add up, but trust me it does add up, because their traffic is crazy. They will also send you email alerts when they are having high traffic, so that if you are not logged on, you can hurry up and get logged on and get your piece of the pie. There are all kinds of cool and crazy questions you will get coming through at Cha Cha, which makes your job very interesting and fun. You do not have to sign up for a work schedule since you set your own hours with Cha Cha and you can just hop on anytime and start taking questions! They are so... flexible. http://becomeaguide.chacha.com/

With KGB there are certain questions they choose not to answer, with Cha Cha they will pretty much answer anything as long as it's not against the law. With Cha Cha you must take the questions as they come to you, with KGB you can choose which questions you want to answer. So there is a little more flexibility there with that also. They both run great contests to earn a little extra pretty often. Cha Cha has a Cha Cha debit card you can apply for to recieve your payments at the click of a pay me now button on their site or you can also be mailed a check once your earnings reach a certain amount. KGB requires your earnings o get to a certain amount before you can receive your payment. However if you haven't reached that limit for a certain amount of time, they will go ahead and send you your payment anyway.

I would recommend you try them both out to see which one you like best. You may like them both like I do or you may choose to only work for one. As i mentioned Cha Cha isn't hiring at the moment, so you could go ahead and give KGB a try and see how you like them first. then apply to Cha Cha later. Good Luck! And please free to ask me any questions at all.

"We want a Lady in the street, but a Freak in the bed".

I'm sure you have heard that line before, especially in a Ludacris song or two right, lol! Well, some men want it all don't they? Some may not even really care about how you their lady feels about that.
But, ladies... it can actually be really fun to turn on that alter ego and bad girl personality once in a while. In the process, you can be that freak he wants and take some of your extra frustration out on him at the same time and he won't be mad at you for it, trust me.

In my opinion, a woman should love to or at least try to explore her freaky side once in a while. It will make you happy to bring out a different side of you and to have him in a trance hanging on your every movement and word and it will just thrill the heck out of your man! I know I am not saying anything new, or telling you something you don't already know, but I also know some women may be shy or resent their man for trying to bring that freak out of them and it's not their fault it's their man's for not knowing how to go about it the right way! I am a woman who likes to surprise my man, I wouldn't like being asked how come you never, or why can't you? Unfortunately lots of guys do that. So why not just beat him to the punch??

I spoke about my goodie box in one of my earlier posts. What that is, is a little box full of lotions, massage oils, creams, "certain novelties", savories, etc. that I keep put away in my lingerie drawer. You know what I mean. I get them from a couple of different places I shop online which I will mention in a bit, very inexpensive by the way.

So Anyway, first you have to feel sexy within yourself in order to bring that sexy out to him. The way I do that is by taking care of me, making sure I get my me time, so I feel good about myself, then I can give him some time and get some more me time in the process, lol! Other simple ways to feel sexy and beautiful are:
1.) Pampering yourself once in a while with a mani/pedicure
2.) Give yourself a homemade avocado mask
3.)Wear sexy underwear
4.) Laugh a whole lot
5.)Finally, just know that YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! and that will shine throughout you and others will see that too. Enjoy your sexy and he will enjoy it more.
So just walk around all day in your sexy mode and let him just enjoy you being sexy when you are together and then when it comes time for you to put it on him, you will be so confident you may even surprise yourself! lol!
To set the mood, depending on the mood you are looking for, I love to get the synthetic roses from the local craft store or my local 99 cent store, (yep I said 99 cent store) and I pluck the roses off of the stem and spray a bit of his favorite perfume or fragrance on them and then put them all over the bed, or in a bubble bath tub if we will be bathing before we get down to it. Great for foreplay by the way, not to mention a blindfold massage with your soothing oils, a sensual, sexy lap dance or even a strip tease and don't you dare forget about role playing in your sexy costume girl! Remember your favorite slow jams, candles and/or incense. Most of all just have fun and enjoy him enjoying you! Have fun and don't do anything I wouldn't do...! LOL!

www.somethingsexyplanet.com (some things are more expensive than others here)
Lingerie:
Costumes:
All of the above mentioned places carry costumes as well, but the places listed below have a little more variety.
Homemade Avocado Mask(ehow.com) : Step 1)Mash up the "meat" of an avocado in a large bowl until it is creamy.
Step 2) Add a few drops of vinegar and mix it together thoroughly. Do not add more than a few drops of vinegar.
Step 3)Spread evenly over face and neck, either using your hands or a spatula tool. Let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 4)Rinse off with warm water and towel dry your face by blotting, never rubbing.
Step 5)Once thoroughly rinsed and dried, follow with a cool water rinse to close pores. Again, towel dry your face by blotting your skin, not rubbing.

Real Paid Surveys and PTR's

Hello again! I know you are probably always hearing about all of these different survey sites and advertisements that claim to pay you for either completing "short" surveys or filling out forms and how you can make so many hundreds and thousands of dollars and you are wondering which ones actually pay and which ones don't.

Well, I will tell you from experience that you can make some spare cash, but you will not become strinkingly rich or anything like that, just from taking free paid surveys. There are a lot of "paid survey sites" that require you to sign up for offers, often using your debit card for a trial charge of $1 to $3.99 or even more sometimes depending on the offer you choose to sign up for. I personally stay away from those, even if they do offer you a sign up bonus of $5.00 or whatever, It isn't worth it to me personally to have my credit card/debit card info being used all over the place to sign up for all these offers, just to then go through the headache of having to cancel them before the trial period runs out and my card is then charged for the full amount.
Some say you may just want to get a separate prepaid card that you use specifically for signing up for the trial offers, which is fine so that no one will have access to your regular, personal credit/debit cards. However, as I mentioned before that is just too... much of a headache for me, when I can take paying surveys that don't require any credit/debit card or any fees at all for that matter and that will actually pay me for just that, completing surveys. But, to each his/her own.

So, the following survey sites that I am going to list here, are all sites that I have personally been paid by already. I usually take the surveys in my spare time or as they come to me by email. Some of them allow you to cash out at a lower amount than others and some take longer to accumulate the cash out amount than others, which usually depends on your interests and the surveys that come available that fit those interests, which you will specify when you sign up for the survey site(s) you choose. Some of these sites require you to have a Paypal account, so they can transfer your earnings into it. It is a free account and you can also apply for a Paypal debit card once you need it, for easy access to your $. You can get your free Paypal account here: http://www.paypal.com/

Global Opinion Panels - Survey invitations are sent to you by email and you accumulate points which transfer into cash. It adds up rather quickly if you respond to all or at least most of their surveys. Even if you don't fit the criteria or specific group they are looking for on a particular survey, you still receive 50 bonus points just for trying! Once you have enough points to transfer into $5.00 minimum, you can cash out and you will receive your check by mail. Paypal is not yet a payment option. http://www.globalopinionpanels.com/

Mindfield Research -You can cash out on this one when you have earned $5.00 and they do send you a lot of email invitations. However sometimes you will not qualify for the targeted group they are looking for to complete their surveys for whatever reason, so you may not be able to take a lot of their surveys in a very short time. But as I mentioned, they do send you a lot of invitations to take their surveys so the more you respond to, the better you chance you will have of getting to the ones you do qualify to complete. You can choose to receive your earnings by either Paypal or they will mail you a check.

Pinecone Research - They are awesome and they always pay! You receive your survey invitations by email. They do not send out too many surveys but they are consistent, sending out at least 4-5 per month. The Average minimum earnings per survey is $3.00, which is paid soon after each qualified and completed survey. You do not have to wait for an amount to cash out. Paypal is required in order to receive your earnings.

American Consumer Opinion Panel (ACOP) - This is another great survey Co. they send you email invites for their surveys and you may also be asked to try out products in your home as well. I have doneand stil do both. The average earnings for their surveys are $4.00 and for testing products, usually $7.00 and up, plus you get to try out a product and give your input for free! Earnings are accumulated and saved in your ACOP account on their member site and you can cash out by having a check sent to you by mail anytime you request it and It gets to you pretty quickly, from my experience. They do not offer Paypal as a way to receive your earnings at this time.

Your 2 Cents - Survey invites by email and payment is made by check in $10.00 increments or earnings can also be redeemed for Amazon vouchers. They send survey invites often, though you may not always qualify for every one. http://www.your2cents.com/

Survey Savvy - Points are accumulated for completing surveys which you can redeem for cash. They send out invites at a steady pace per week. The minimum payout you can request is $1.00. Currently all payments are sent in U.S. currency and mailed in the form of a check. Paypal is not currently an option.

Now I'd like to list some PTR's or Paid To Read's I've been paid by. With these you get paid to read emails or advertisements and business ops. Again, you are NOT required to purchase anything at all.

Hits4pay - You get a $10.00 sign up bonus. You are sent an email when advertisements are available for you to view that fit your interests. Again, your interests will be determined when you sign up and the advertisements you view will pertain to those interests. The minimum cash out amount is $25.00. Each advertisement you view is worth .02 cents and you must view it for a few seconds in order for it to be credited to your account. It sounds like a little, but with all the ones you will receive, it does add up. It does take time, but they do pay. Paypal is required to receive your payment.

Send Earnings - $5.00 sign up bonus and you get paid to read emails, play games, take surveys and to sign up for offers if you choose to, but you are not required to. As I mentioned before I refrain from doing the latter for my own reasons, but to each his own. You are not required to complete offers and you can earn money just fine by playing games, taking surveys and reading emails or either of those. The minimum cash out amount is $30.00.

Inbox Dollars - This site is similar to Send Earnings. You also get a $5.00 sign up bonus and you get paid to read emails, play games, take surveys and to sign up for offers if you choose to, but you are not required to. As I mentioned before I refrain from doing the latter for my own reasons, but to each his own. You are not required to complete offers and you can earn money just fine by playing games, taking surveys and reading emails or either of those. The minimum cash out amount is $30.00.

Dealsncash - This one adds up quickly and they give you a sign on incentive too! They are similar to Hits4pay.
http://dealsncash.com/members/index.cgi?lacutie69

Clixsense - You may or may not have heard of them. They offer a variety of ways to make some extra $. The main way I make $ with them is by reading advertisements or paid emails, which you log into their site to view. They pay a couple of cents each, and it takes a while if that's the only way you choose to earn from them, but it does add up. I am exploring some of the other ways they offer to make $ and I will keep you posted as I become more familiar with them.

Adbux - This is a site I am new to. They offer free and paid offers for you to sign up for and each one pays a different amount once completed. I have only tried the free survey offers. Check them out and understand their site and what they offer before just signing up, this may or may not be something you are interested in.
http://adbux.org/?r=lacutie69

Neobux -Another PTC site I just started with and they seem pretty cool. I will keep you updated as I go along. http://www.neobux.com/?r=alwayslacutie6

All mommies or just ladies in general, go shopping in some form or another weather we love it or not. So, Here is another Company that is a little different from the others. It is called The ACNeilson Homescan Panel. They send you a scanner that you use to scan purchases you make at the market, gas station, when you shop etc. and you transmit them back to the company using your computer. They send you everything you need in the mail. They also have you take surveys for them as well, either through the scanner or by email. They have a gift program with a bunch of different gifts, like electronics, appliances, kid stuff, travel aids and a bunch more and you exchange your points from your scans for those gifts. I enjoy it and if you'd like to give them a try, you can check them out here:

So that's about it for now. Just a couple of final key notes. Usually if you are inactive or do not take surveys for a few months or respond to your PTR's, they will stop sending you invites and your account will become inactive and you may or may not be able to reactivate it, depending on their terms.

Please remember that for all of these survey and PTR sites, that since they do not take taxes out of your payments you are solely responsible for reporting any income you earn through them and paying the appropriate taxes.

Again, please do not expect to get rich because that just isn't going to happen by taking part in these surveys. However, you can earn some realistic extra cash in your spare time without having to pay for it! So Good Luck and Have Fun!

Are you getting your "Me Time"?

"Me time", you may ask, "What's that"? That phrase used to be absent from my vocabulary and world too, unless I was complaining about how I never got any.
Trust me I know all about it, remember I'm a mother of 4, soon to be 5, (trust and believe 5 is the last one too, lol!), so I'm no stranger to not having enough hours in the day to get everything done, kids, cooking, cleaning, washing clothes, errands, grocery shopping, husband, working part time, just to name the basic daily tasks and taking care of me would rarely even make the list before, besides a quick shower and putting my eyebrows on so I didn't scare any unexpected visitors.

Well not anymore honey, because if you don't take care of you, you will be no good to yourself or your family. Now, I'm not saying start being selfish and run off and take a vacation by yourself or with the girls, although it'd be real nice, ha? lol! Seriously though, you are a very important person to your family as you should already know, because you mommy are the backbone who holds it all down and though we are not always at our best and feeling our best, somehow we still manage to get it all done and they count on us for that. So your "Me Time" is essential to your well-being and sanity!

My me time is not extravagant, but it's my me time and it may not be everyday, but it's at least 2-3 times a week! One of my favorite things to do during my me time, is to draw myself a nice hot bath, sometimes w/ bubbles, sometimes not, put my bath crystals or bath salts in there too. Gardenia and Lavender are very relaxing scents and Lavender is relaxing for your body. I then light my candles of course! Scented or not, that's up to you, but Gardenia and Lavender candles match with the bath crystals and have the same relaxing effect on your senses and mood. Mulberry, Honeydew or French Vanilla will work too or whatever your preference may be. Incense is wonderful too, or Glade scented Candles. I'm sorry, I just love candles! You can get them at your local 99cents Store or Bath and Body Works http://www.bathandbodyworks.com/home/index.jsp, you can also check out your local Botanica.

Anyway, a glass of champagne or wine is the perfect finishing touch, (when I'm not pregnant, otherwise Apple Cider, so I can pretend, lol!) and sometimes I will add my favorite slow jam CD to drown out the kids trying to disrupt my me time, lol! Their Daddy is in there with them and he can answer their 1001 questions! lol! But, honestly we have an understanding, my kids and I, that when mommy is having her me time, Daddy is on call unless they are deathly ill, or someone is dying or has lost a limb, lol and it is very necessary for mommy's me time for her to be a happy mommy who takes care of everyone else and just like they need and get their time to themselves so do I. It took them a while but they are getting better at it.

Before, my husband was difficult when my youngest child was first born and I was in the "I need to find my way back to me", stage, since I had just had a new baby and hadn't just been me for so long and I wanted to work out on my treadmill a little while after dinner to get back into shape then have a nice bath or shower, or some nights just do my bath thing, you know! Well, I couldn't get any time in because he'd complain about being tired from work, even though he had rested after coming home, since I never asked him to help with the baby or anything right when he got home from work and I'd be like well it's no picnic here all day either buddy! He swore the kids took care of themselves all day and the house did too and I guess dinner just up and cooked itself too. Anyway, I still got my me time, but it was after everyone was asleep. So some nights he would want to get it on, you know after all the kids were asleep, but oh no you don't, I told him! Since you didn't want to let me have my me time, guess what, I'm getting it now, love ya, goodnight, muah! LOL! He eventually changed his take on my me time after that happened for a few nights, lol!

I know some of you may be single mommies who read this, so even if you have to get your "Me Time", after your babies are asleep, Get It Girl!! You will be better for it! Not only for yourself but for your babies and workmates too. We tend to be a lot less grouchy or snappy when we take care of ourselves! Getting your hair and nails done is great to, but keeping it simple is also a wonderful thing if the latter isn't always available to us.

Here are a couple of places when you can really get a whole day of "Me Time":

Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spa- Wonderful place to visit for the day. They offer natural surroundings , complimentary robe, slippers, towels and their prices are very reasonable, starting at just $25.00! They also have a variety of other packages you can choose from. You even get in free on your birthday or when you are pregnant!! Check them out here: http://www.glenivy.com/index.html

Burke Williams, although a little pricier, but not too much for a Gorgeous spa really, is another great place for you to check out for a day of your "Me Time". They offer a variety of massages and body wraps, just to mention a few of their services. You can check them out here:
http://www.burkewilliamsspa.com/

So, I just wanted to remind you to get that "Me Time" ladies, because I know how easy it is to be last on your own list, if not left off of it completely.

Take Care of you and TTFN....

Hello All!

I Just wanted to say Big ups to BET for honoring Michael Jackson the way they did and how beautiful was it that Janet Jackson came to thank everyone for the love and support being showed to her brother?! I was in tears, as were many others. R.I.P. MJ.

I really hope you have checked out some of the work at home companies I listed. Please feel free to leave your comments, ask any questions or to just say hey, if you feel like it!

Mommy! Mom! Mama! I can't even count how many times a day I hear that. I joke with my kids sometimes and tell them I'm going to change my name because they call me so much! LOL! So I know all of you mommies have been hearing the same thing since most of the kids are out of school right now for summer vacation. So... I wanted to list some fun, inexpensive places to take the little critters, lol, so you can all get out of the house, breathe and not drive each other crazy all day.

I'm not sure how old every one's children are but Chuck E Cheese is a good place to go and they are usually located all over the place. It's cool and air conditioned, they can eat, play a bunch of games and get cool prizes and usually they aren't too old for it until they are like... well are they ever too old? I still play the games when I go there! LOL! Anyway, if you sign up for The Chuck E Cheese Email Club online at http://www.chuckecheese.com/, they will send you some free coupons, for you to print out. It will save you a lot of $ on the pizza and get you some free tokens too. There are also some cool little rewards charts on their site for you to print out and keep up with your kids about, which also gets them more free tokens. They have rewards charts for completed potty training, cleaning their room and for good grades on their report card, just to name a few. You can also get coupons out of your Sunday paper, but I think the ones Chuck E Cheese emails you for joining their club are a lot better and save you more.

Another place is the Aquarium of the Pacific, in Long Beach CA. They have so much marine life there and right now through September 6, 2009, they are having their Discounted Shark Summer Sundays! After 5p.m. everyone gets in for the kids admission price of $11.95 and they have extended their hours so they are open until 10p.m. on Sunday nights. You can check the discount out here: http://www.aquariumofpacific.org/newsevents/eventsdetail/summer_sundays/?gclid=COuQ86j6r5sCFUdM5Qod8hmkBwuQ86j6r5sCFUdM5Qod8hmkBwj6r5sCFUdM5Qod8hmkBw or you can just browse their site at your leisure here:

http://www.aquariumofpacific.org/. Otherwise, the regular admission prices are $23.95 for adults, children 3-11 $11.95 and Seniors 62+ $20.95. If you order your tickets online, you can save $5 per Adult ticket.

There is also Exposition Park in Los Angeles CA. where The Natural History Museum is located. There is so much exploring to do there and your kids will have a ball! http://www.nhm.org/ Admission for adults is $9.00, for kids ages 5-12 it's only $2.00 and for ages 13-17 it's only $6.50. There are wild animals to view in their natural habitats, not live of course, but they sure do look like they are! There is also a lot on the history of people, birds and Dinosaurs! Sometimes they have Dinosaurs (mechanical), walking around and you can observe them up close and personal. There is also a part they have for the kids to do a fossil search, where they dig for Dinosaur fossils. There is an Amazon Rain forest exhibit that you can walk through too. So you will be there for a fun while, make sure you have all your juicies, little snackies and plenty of wipies to go around.

The California Science Center, http://www.californiasciencecenter.org/, is right up the way from the Natural History Museum, still in the same park location. Admission is free but, you can make a donation if you'd like to. There are a ton of things to do there as well. They have permanent exhibits that are always there but, they are also always bringing in new ones, there may be a fee for some of their exhibits but, the majority of them are free. You can check out their site to see what is new at the time you are planning to visit them. They have a fun lab with a Science Arcade, Experiment with Science yourself, as well as watch some amazing science videos. There is also a Mc Donalds and Taco Bell inside of the California Science Center for your convenience, but packing your own lunch would be a great money saver. I usually pack sandwiches for us all or sometimes just for my hubby and I and I'll take lunchables for the kids, since they are complete with the meal, juice, snack and they have so many to choose from. Then I just bring extra snacks, juicies and water. My kids are even picky about water though so, I get the little water flavors from walgreens or the 99 Cent Store and put those in their water so it tastes all fruity, lol and they just love it.

Next, there is the IMAX Theatre, still in the same park, just across from the California Science Center. They have a HUGE screen and it makes you feel like you are actually inside of the movie! The movies they show vary, so you can check their site out at: http://www.californiasciencecenter.org/Imax/Features/Features.php

Trust me you will not be disappointed! Admission for adults is $8.00, children 4-12 $4.75 and ages 13-17 costs $5.75, unless you become a member, then you get more of a slight discount. Also, if you are in a group of 15 or more, they give you slight discount as well.

There is also the California African American Museum http://www.caamuseum.org/where they have tons on African American History and Admission is free. There are a variety of different cultural masks, paintings and authentic headdresses from different parts of Africa, including West Africa for your viewing pleasure. You can learn a lot there or maybe just refresh some of the knowledge you already have about the African and African American cultures.

There is also The beautiful Rose Garden http://www.laparks.org/exporosegarden/rosegarden.htm where you can sit in a beautiful Rose surroundings and enjoy the wonderful fragrances, not to mention the gorgeous fountain in the very center of the garden to top it off, as you eat your lunch and walk around with the kids and let them explore as well. They do however book a bunch of events there, like weddings and other special events, so if it is busy when you visit, you can still pass along side it and view it that way. You can't miss it that's for sure, its just there sitting pretty, out in the open.

You can also take go to your local YMCA where they have different classes and activities that are either little or no cost for you to share in with your munchkins. That way they will get tired out and get rid of some of their endless energy and maybe relax a bit when you get them back home. That is until they get their next energy burst ten minutes later, lol!

So have fun and I will look for more free and/or low priced outing adventures. Please let me know of any you may know about that I don't, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks a bunch!

He will be truly missed

I just wanted to say something about The Great Legend Michael Jackson. I grew up listening to his music with my whole family, my Father was in his Beat It video back in 1982, when I was only 2 years old and my uncles performed his music at their school talent shows and my grandmother even sewed them the glitter jackets and white glitter glove so they could look just like Michael, lol! I was a huge fan of his regardless of what the media tried to portray him as. His music transcended all barriers and he will truly be missed. I am still in shock as are many others and my prayers are with his family, especially his precious children, who have lost their Daddy. May he rest in peace and be remembered for the great things he accomplished in his life and the way he changed the world of music, forever.

A whole bunch of work at home listings!!

So... Here are a whole bunch of company's that hire people to work from home. They all have different requirements and some of them may only be hiring in certain states right now, so be sure to make sure you check that out in their job requirement/description page.

You can apply to as many as you like, but just make sure you understand what the job entails and that you are ready for it. Some basic home office requirements include:

1.)Your Desktop PC of course! We can't do anything w/o that now can we?? Lol! Laptop PCs or Macintosh computers are not usually allowed for call center/virtual assistant positions.

2.)Your computer should have the following:
1Ghz-2Ghz processor
Windows XP or Vista operating system
512MB-1GB of RAM
Sound card, speakers
15-17" monitor
Virus and spyware protection software and a working firewall are usually required.
Software programs that may be required include Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Excel), WinZip and/or Adobe Acrobat reader,(which you can download for free, http://www.adobe.com/)

3.)A Broadband Internet Connection. Most companies will prefer you to have either DSL or a Cable internet connection or anything better than that. Dial up is rather slow and not their first preference, so if you have it, try to upgrade soon. You don't have to have it just to apply for work with these companies, but you should have it before starting your new job.

4.)Also, for call center jobs, cell, VOIP (i.e Vonage) and cable phones are not usually acceptable, so you will need a landline. Many companies require that this be a dedicated phone line separate from your home phone. Calling features on the phone line, such as call waiting, call blocking and voice mail, are often not allowed or must be disabled.

5.)If you are going to be doing telephone work, a noise cancelling headset is usually required. You can order them nline through Amazon or at your local Target or Walmart for around $15 to $20 bucks. If you want a really, really great one, and you are willing to spend some $$, check out the Boom Headset. Oh yes, it will cost you a pretty penny, but it is worth it! They have more than one style and model to choose from. For example the Boom O Is $99.00, but they do provide you with a 30-day money back gaurantee. You can check them out at http://www.theboom.com/ and look for "headsets".

6.)Instant message account. Services like AIM or Yahoo Messenger are sometimes required but are free to download.

7.)Web browser. Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher is usually required but some companies prefer Moxzilla Firefox.

8.)Some companies require printers or at least access to one.

9.)Fax machines, not so much, depending on the job. However, you can always fax by email with efax or freefaxzero.com.

10.)For call center/virtual assistant jobs, you also need a quiet, private work space. Some require your workspace be in a separate room with a door and even a lock.

11.) You'll also need a comfy chair for your tushy!

12.) finally, by no means does your home office have to be elaborate honey! I know mine's isn't, but it does what I need it to do.

So here they are, have fun and best of luck to ya!
